The Old Fox House

Over 200 years old, this historic building was once a local pub, The Fox, shown on Ordnance Survey maps dating back to the early 1800s.

The house is situated at the edge of Ashdown Forest in the former village of Duddleswell. The area was a former royal hunting ground and now an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Old Fox House is a fine example of local architecture, built from the locally quarried sandstone, with low ceilings and lots of character, with new additions in-keeping with the original building.
